Power Inverter (Drive Inverter)

Power-electronics module that converts HV DC from the battery into 3-phase AC for the drive motor (and vice-versa during regen). Built around IGBT or SiC MOSFET switches at 10–20 kHz. Inverter faults are a top cause of "reduced power" warnings.
