Onboard Charger (OBC)

The on-vehicle AC-to-DC charger that converts grid AC (Level 1/2) into HV DC for the battery. Typically 7.4–22 kW, single- or three-phase. Bypassed during DC fast charging, where the off-board station feeds the pack directly.
