What does DI-W014 mean?
Tesla warning code in the Drive Inverter (DI) module. This alert detects when active damping is producing a torque signal that is higher than expected for longer than expected. Active damping compensates for half the shaft / wheel dynamics to reduce drivetrain oscillation. It also tries to mitigate the ?clunk? that comes with a torque direction reversal. When this alert is thrown, the active damping is turned off but turns back on (retries) after 2 seconds. After 2 retries, it stays off until the end of the drive?.
