Why does the exact Tesla alert ID matter?
Record the exact alert ID, including underscores, suffixes, and companion alerts. Tesla alerts that look similar can point to different modules, timestamps, and service procedures.
What does TAS-A210 mean?
Tesla alert code in the Thermal Architecture System (TAS) module. Received ride height sensor calibration values are outside of allowable range. Air suspension will level to incorrect ride height. Rear left air valve has reached its duty cycle (on time) limit. Rear left air valve has dropped below its duty cycle (on time) limit, plus some hysteresis. Air suspension leveling will be temporarily disabled until rear left air valve duty cycle drops. Air suspension system is operating under limp home mode 10 restrictions. The ECU has detected an issue whose severity requires operating under limp home mode 10 restrictions. Boost air valve has reached its duty cycle (on time) limit. Boost air valve has dropped below its duty cycle (on time) limit, plus some hysteresis. Air suspension leveling via the compressor boost valve will be temporarily disabled until boost air valve duty cycle drops. A task init function returns with an error. If an init routine fails, software may not opperate correctly. Front right air valve has reached its duty cycle (on time) limit. Front right air valve has dropped below its duty cycle (on time) limit, plus some hysteresis. Air suspension leveling will be temporarily disabled until front right air valve duty cycle drops.

Affected Tesla Models
What You May Notice
- Thermal Architecture System alert: Received ride height sensor calibration values are outside of allowable range. Air suspension will level to incorrect ri
- Reduced charging speed in cold weather or battery pre-conditioning required
- HVAC performance may be slightly affected
How to Diagnose and Resolve
- 1 Reboot the vehicle
- 2 Check coolant levels if accessible (Model S/X only)
- 3 Avoid DC fast charging until battery temperature normalizes
- 4 Schedule service if the alert appears in warm ambient conditions
Severity Notes
TAS-A210 is an Alert in the Thermal Architecture System system. Confirm the vehicle screen and Tesla app show no driving or charging restrictions, and schedule service if the alert returns.
