Precharge Resistor

Precharge Resistor · Precharge Resistor · Battery & Energy Storage

A power resistor in series with a smaller precharge contactor that gradually charges the inverter's DC-link capacitor before the main HV contactors close. Limits inrush current and contact welding. A failed precharge sequence triggers P0AA0/P0A0D family DTCs and prevents drive.
